Xena - ADOPTABLE

Behavior - A Stands tied - A Front feet - A Back feet - A Leads - A

is a 5 year old spotted miniature Molly. She was a rescue transfer from Dansville, Michigan in October 2019. Xena leads with a halter, stands tied and picks up all 4 of her feet. Xena also knows target-training using a clicker. Xena is a young and sassy little girl who loves being brushed and going for walks. She needs a family that will work with her consistently on keeping the right behaviors and also make sure she has a healthy diet to keep her from being overweight.

Junie - ADOPTABLE

Behavior - A Stands tied - A Front feet - B Back feet - B Leads - A

is an 8 year old 10.3h Molly. Junie was a rescue transfer from a hoarding situation in Gilmer, Texas. Junie leads with a halter, stands tied, picks up her feet and has had her first ride under saddle at LMMR. Junie also knows target-training using a clicker. Junie is a calm, quiet girl who likes interacting with people, but sometimes she is reluctant to be caught. Junie would be a good candidate for a first-time mule owner with some equine experience who is willing to continue working with her on a regular basis.

Roman - ADOPTABLE

Behavior - A Stands tied - A Front feet - A Back feet - B Leads - A

is a miniature John mule. He was a rescue from Chapel Hill, Tennessee in January 2020. Roman is easy to catch, picks up all 4 feet, leads with a halter and stands tied! He also enjoys being brushed.

Dudly - IN TRAINING

Behavior - C Stands tied - D Front feet - C Back feet - D Leads - B

is a miniature John mule. He was a rescue from Chapel Hill, Tennessee in January 2020. Dudly leads with a halter, stands tied and picks up his feet. Dudly is a really sweet mule who likes to be scratched on the head and neck, but he can be difficult to catch sometimes.

Penny - IN TRAINING

Behavior - D Stands tied - N/A Front feet - C Back feet - N/A Leads - C

is a 13 year old 13.3h sorrel Molly. She was a rescue transfer from a hoarding situation in Gilmer, Texas. Penny walks on a halter, stands tied, picks up her front feet and has been ridden at LMMR. Penny is a shy soul who we think was treated roughly in her past as she prefers to be by herself away from people and other animals. Penny would do best in a home that can interact with her every day.

Digger - IN TRAINING

Behavior - B Stands tied - A Front feet - D Back feet - F Leads - A

is an 11 year old 13h John. Digger was a rescue transfer from a hoarding situation in Gilmer, Texas. Digger leads with a halter, stands tied, picks up his front feet and has had his first ride under saddle at LMMR. Digger is a calm mule with a good mind and friendly demeanor. He is dominant towards other equines and prefers to have his own space when eating. Digger does have a conformational defect and is very cow-hocked, so his riding career would have to be light and he is not physically suitable for packing. Digger would do well for an intermediate mule person or as a companion for another equine.

Gus - IN TRAINING

Behavior - B Stands tied - D Front feet - C Back feet - D Leads - B

is a 4 year old 14h John. Gus was an owner surrender in San Angelo, Texas. Gus leads with a halter, stands tied and picks up his front feet. Gus is a very lazy and friendly easy to catch mule. He is willing, and loves people so much that sometimes he needs to be reminded of his manners. Gus would do best in a home willing to invest their time into furthering his career as he is young and learns quickly.

Clifford - ADOPTED

Behavior - A Stands tied - A Front feet - A Back feet - A Leads - A

is a big red John mule. He was a rescue from Chapel Hill, Tennessee in January 2020. Clifford leads with a halter, stands tied and picks up his front feet. Clifford is a very friendly easy to catch mule. Clifford has an old healed injury to his right hind pastern from 6 years ago. He is sound but we have not evaluated him under saddle and would not recommend him for a riding career. Clifford would do best as a companion for an intermediate handler or another equine.
