Chili is an 11 year old mule who was rescued by LMMR in 2022 in Colorado from extreme neglect, completely feral and with very overgrown hooves. Chili was rehabilitated and then placed in our sanctuary until one of our trainers agreed to foster him long-term as a mini-horse companion in 2024. Unfortunately, Chili proved to be virtually untrainable, uncontainable, and extremely mischievous, and returned to our sanctuary in 2026.
