is a 12 year old John mule rescued in Tennessee in 2020. While Gideon is a large, handsome mule that anyone would love to own and ride, he came to us with bucking and bolting issues. He was sent to a professional saddle trainer from 2021-2022, but did not graduate due to persistently bucking under saddle. He was then placed with another trainer in 2023, as we really hoped Gideon could learn to act safely to become adoptable, but his bucking and bolting issue could not be resolved. Because of this, his best life is lived in our sanctuary.
