is a 10 year old John mule rescued with 54 other mules in Tennessee in 2020. We were told that Monty was already a bucker and a bolter under saddle. Monty was in our training program from 2021-2022, but unfortunately his bolting issue while being led remained severe and can be dangerous, so he was disqualified from training. Aside from this issue, he is a very sweet and friendly mule who enjoys being petted without a halter on. He enjoys life in our sanctuary.
